In between dives Ross earned his money to pay for diving and underwater camera equipment as a Mechanical Engineer. One of his areas of expertise is 3D mechanical design using advanced 3D computer aided design software packages such as Solidworks and Autodesk Fusion 360. He has now combined this design expertise with a 3D printer to produce focus/zoom gears, port covers and other items for his underwater camera equipment.
